ERA World Championships Event

The Elite Rodeo Athletes has announced that to better the experience of a rodeo, it is a good idea to expand and expose the fun environment of their best rodeo product. It showcases the best rodeo athletes in the world, comprising 118 World Champion titles from both past and present competitors.

The 2016 ERA World Championships will be held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on November 11th, 12th and 13th.  According to ERA Athlete Bobby Mote, they wanted this Championship experience to become more fan-friendly in order for the appropriate demographic to spread the word regarding these events and potentially influence the fans and onlookers on future rodeos around Texas and other parts of the world.

The weekend event will feature certain activities and other entertainment in the ERA expo for everyone. There will be athlete appearances & autograph signing, shopping, live concerts and demos. And, on top of that event, there will be a kick-off week to celebrate this event as many people will feast on their meals, spend time with your friends and family and most important of all, have fun and cherish the memories.

This is also a golden opportunity to strut your purchased Urban Western Wear Tin Haul boots around the place while looking for food or mementos from that event with designs that are worth a thousand words. Your boots can spread the word via direct contact and social media that can get the conversation buzzing about its vibrant and snazzy designs that will prompt people to select their footwear choice for both men and women when they go to the website.

You can purchase tickets online at www.ticketmaster.com or its main website, www.eraprorodeo.com. For hotel information and accomadations, go to http://www.americanairlinescenter.com/assets/doc/ERA-Hotel-Info-360860a773.pdf and book your hotel room.

The Rodeo Bucket List

Rodeos in Texas are not purely entertainment but they are part of its Texan heritage for people gathering to either make or relive some memories. However, it is a part of a criteria in your life that involves you buying boots and feeling like a cowboy for a day or for a weekend. If you want to experience a rodeo and have a great time with others, here are my three selected events that I highly recommend for you to go at least once in your lifetime:

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the massive, three-week extravaganza that consists of bull-riding, bronco riding, roping, rodeo fair rides, a petting zoo and concerts, ranging from your favorite country artists to rock n’ roll bands to the Latino band groups.  Its attendance has topped around 2.5 million people each year as participants can head out to solely have a good time to relax and enjoy the BBQ and experience a taste of the ranch life. This annual rodeo in March are held at NRG Stadium, while the fair and other events are held in the parking lot and several nearby buildings.

San Antonio Rodeo and Stock Show

When founded in 1950, the San Antonio Rodeo and Stock Show is one of the most popular and events in the country, which attracts a million people annually. The organization that hold the event supports Texas youth education and agriculture and most of the expenses go to scholarships, grants, awards that benefit the great young minds of today. As this rodeo has its events such as bull riding, saddle bronc riding and team roping, there is an event for kids in which they have to ride a sheep for at least six seconds and a Horse Education Center to provide expert tips to take care of a horse. The musical concerts range from your favorite country artists like Reba McEntire to the occasional rock n’roll bands such as Journey to please your sights and ears.

Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo

This Austin-based event has the standard rodeo events but the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo has competitive events such as pig races, a youth art show and a barbecue cook-off. The family-friendly event offers something for everyone as this rodeo offers Austin’s largest carnival complete with rides, games and fair food favorites. Even for its rodeo events, the two top-tier athletes travel to the rodeo to compete against each other for the coveted title of Champion. Fans can enjoy a fun time but also can enjoy an action-packed competition full of bull-riding and Mutton Bustin’.

Garth Brooks Sevens by Cinch

Garth Brooks and Cinch are teaming up! Actually, they already have.

Last week, during the WESA Market in Denver, buyers had the first chance to get a sneak peek at Cinch’s new line “Garth Brooks Sevens by Cinch” debuting in stores this fall.

Cinch has gained it’s good reputation based on their high quality shirts and great fitting denim that offers a wide range of fits and washes, which guarantees everyone can find something they like at affordable prices.

Garth Brook’s line will be up to part with all of Cinch’s quality clothing, but it will bear the country singer’s signature style, for which he has been known for decades.

As described by Cinch, “Designs come from Brooks’ stage-inspired styling and combine his high-energy on-stage presence with CINCH’s commitment to authentic western apparel. High-quality fabrics, ideal fit and unique western taste will be seen in all “Garth Brooks Sevens by CINCH” clothing. The shirts and jeans in the line are geared towards the core western lifestyle audience and all those who love the cowboy way. “

Cinch is not new to endorsements or partnerships. They endorse champs like Cody Ohl and Fred Whitfield, as well as other musicians like Curtis Grimes. And they have partnered with many organizations like All American Quarter Horse Congress and Colorado FFA Foundation.

But this, however, is Garth Brooks’ very first partnership of this nature. After so many years in the music industry, it makes sense for him to have chosen a name as well known as Cinch take on this endeavor.

The Garth Brook’s line “Garth Brooks Sevens by Cinch” will be sold at UrbanWesternWear.com, and it is scheduled to arrive in September 2016. We recommend you sign up for our e-mail list to be one of the first to get your hands on these pieces that will likely be a hit.

Ready for some great news? Here we go!

After months of work and research we are excited to share some great news. Urban Western Wear is proud to announce the launch of Western Wear Crate, our very own western clothing subscription service.

Through all of our years in business, our customer service has noticed through our live chats, phone calls, and e-mails received, that a lot of our customers want or need help deciding what to purchase or how to style their newly acquired outfits, and that is what Western Wear Crate is here to do.

This new service is an easy way to get the clothes you need without the hassle of shopping for yourself.

  • Tell us what you would like to get (shirt, pants, accessories, or all of the above)
  • Take a quick style quiz telling us what you like and don’t like and how much on average you like to spend on clothing
  • Sit back and wait for your clothes to be delivered to your house

Having a personal stylist is no longer something that just celebrities do. Each member of Western Wear Crate gets a personal stylist who will take the time to closely analyze your style quiz responses in order to find the clothes that best fit you. Your clothes are scheduled to be delivered to you monthly, but you can always change the setting to the amount of time that best works for you.

Once your box is delivered to you, try everything on and decide what you want to keep and send the rest back. When we hear from you about what you have decided to keep or return we’ll charge your credit card (never without your permission) for the cost of what you’re keeping. It’s really that easy.

Western Wear Crate is not the first clothing subscription box, but it is the only one that specializes in western wear. We understand the western lifestyle; we know that a cowboy hat is not a costume and that boots need to be a lot more than just cool looking. We also know that not all cowboys are the same, so all our stylists build each box with a lot care. They are always there to help you with your shopping needs and you can send them an e-mail and request special outfits if you have a specific occasion coming up (weddings, vacation, parties in general).

If you’re not completely convinced to give this a try yet, let us give you the top 3 reasons you should sign up for it today:

1.- There are no contracts. You do not have to commit and you can always send everything back if you are not happy with your box.

2.- Always free shipping. We ship it to you and you ship it back and we’ll never charge you for it.

3.- Convenient and always made specifically for you. Having items picked out for you does not mean you get things that don’t match your style so that convenience doesn’t mean you have to give up style.

And I definitely like my cowboy boots to have some tradition behind them. Take my Stetsons, for example. I love anything from a company that’s managed to stick around for almost 150 years. And I’m willing to bet that after I tell you their history, you’ll be hooked too.
