Yes, what could I possibly have in common with Brian Quaca, the international pig hunter from the award-winning Pigman series on The Sportsman Channel? I mean, besides being ruggedly handsome and incredibly manly?
Those obvious points aside: The answer to this question is that we both love the Tin Haul Gnarly Shark boots! The only difference is that I wear them dancing, out for Tex-Mex, and properly accessorized with a Western belt buckle, and Pigman wears them to…hunt pigs. But that just proves you can wear these boots anywhere.
What is it about these Tin Haul boots that makes them so versatile? Well, for starters, they’re high quality and uniquely stylish. The Gnarly Shark cowboy boots have brown crackle leather and anvil stitching. And just like classic cowboy boots, the Gnarly Sharks have leather insoles, leather-stacked heels, and cow-hide lining. And, they’re hand-lasted and hand-pegged for durability.
Of course, all Tin Haul boots have something called an ‘obvious sole.’ We’ve talked about this great feature before, but it bears repeating: The design on the boot sole is protected by a patented clear rubber that won’t wear down. I bet it gives Pigman a little extra grip on wet leaves, too…I know it works well on the dance floor.
And ladies, please don’t think that Tin Haul forgot about you: The Gnarly Shark also comes in a cowgirl boot with a more feminine design and the same great quality. Not gonna lie–I’m a fan of the pink palm trees on the sole.
These boots are a bestseller at Urban Western Wear, and for good reason! I think Chicken is even starting to come around, and Chicken usually stays away from fun shoes. Make sure you pick up a pair before they’re all gone.
